FAQ
1. Do I need to have any prior healthcare experience to join / participate in H4H events?
No! You do not need any prior experience whatsoever. We will train you for every skill you would need to participate in our events (taking blood pressures, mental health screenings, etc.).
2. Do I have to be a pre-med major, or health related major, to join H4H?
Anyone of any major is welcome to join H4H and contribute to our cause.
3. How do I attend a blood pressure screening?
First, make you sure are trained and have paid dues! Then, check out our GivePulse page to see which BP screening you can attend. Keep an eye out on our GroupMe for links. Our BP screenings are first come, first serve for sign ups, so please make sure to sign up ASAP!
4. I don't have transportation to an H4H event. What can I do?
We are happy to provide transportation! Just message one of the officers in any of our socials.
5. How can I become an officer/chair?
Officer positions open near the middle of the spring semester, and chair positions are available upon need. Keep an eye out on our socials to find when and how to apply.
